HSB Technical Ltd is seeking experienced Welder/Fabricator to work on a project around Portland, Dorset. The role involves MIG and stick welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication both onboard vessels and in the workshop.

You will join a team supporting a busy project, with a contract running from late October to mid‑November 2026. The position is based in Portland, Dorset, with hours and overtime to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on welding experience with MIG and STICK welding.
• Cutting, grinding and preparing materials for welding.
• Active involvement in welding and fabrication both onboard vessels and in workshop.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to contract duration and start date.

Responsabilités

• Carry out welding activities using MIG and stick welding processes.
• Undertake cutting, grinding and preparation of materials and components for welding and fabrication.
• Complete general welding, fabrication and metalwork duties both onboard vessels and within the workshop.
• Prepare materials, components and work areas to ensure welding activities can be completed safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure workmanship and quality standards.
