Liverpool Experience Campus is seeking a Casual Events Security Supervisor to safeguard venues, staff and guests across live events. You will supervise Security and Stewarding teams, enforce security plans, and liaise with event delivery and Front of House Managers to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has demonstrable leadership, thrives under pressure, manages crowds effectively, and holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.

Responsabilités

• Assist Event Security & Stewarding Managers on all Security and Stewarding operations across LEX Liverpool Campus.
• Supervise Security and Stewarding staff during events, ensuring security measures are performed in line with LEX Liverpool Campus procedures and policies.
• Be the link between Security and Stewarding teams and event delivery teams, working closely with LEX Liverpool Campus Event and Front of House Managers.
• Ensure Security & Stewarding deliver the highest possible standard in customer service to LEX Liverpool Campus visitors.
• Deliver team briefings to Security & Stewarding teams on the event floor.
• Ensure all Security & Stewarding staff are signed in and out for working duties, with correct uniform and presentation.
• Take responsibility for signing in/out relevant kit (keys, access cards, scanners) for duties.
• Respond to and report incidents accurately with radio communications to the Security Control Room.
• Be an advocate of Health & Safety and Fire Safety across the venue.
• Complete pre/post event checks using Halo system and address any HS concerns with the on-duty manager.
• Allocate fire routes and assist with coordination of emergency response plans during events.
• Utilise First Aid at Work training and respond to First Aid incidents as needed.
• Ensure Security & Stewarding kit and technology is deployed effectively during event open periods.
• Assist in queue and crowd management during events.

About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the safety and security of LEX Liverpool Campus premises, staff, guests, and visitors. Supervise the security and stewarding staff deployed across the campus and ensure they are in line with the measures outlined within LEX Liverpool Campus Security Strategy. Besides, contributing to event delivery ensuring stewarding and security plans are executed by front line staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising security teams within a live events environment, with a strong understanding of crowd management, access control, incident response and maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and event attendees. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team, make confident decisions under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations. A proactive and professional approach is essential, alongside the ability to liaise with event organisers, venue management and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth and safe delivery of events. A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence and previous supervisory experience are essential.

Main duties of this role include:

• To assist the Event Security & Stewarding Managers on all Security and Stewarding operations across LEX Liverpool Campus.
• To supervise dedicated Security and Stewarding staff during events, ensuring security measures are performed in line with LEX Liverpool Campus procedures and policies.
• To be the link between Security and Stewarding teams and event delivery teams, working closely with LEX Liverpool Campus Event and Front of House Managers.
• To ensure the Security & Stewarding are delivering the highest possible standard in customer service to LEX Liverpool Campus visitors.
• To deliver team briefings to Security & Stewarding teams on the event floor.
• To ensure all Security & Stewarding staff are signed in and out for working duties, with correct uniform and presentation to perform their duties.
• To take responsibility for signing in and out the relevant kit to perform Security & Stewarding duties, including buildings keys, access card, ticket scanner etc.
• To respond to and report incidents in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring radio communications with the Security Control Room team.
• To be an advocate of Health & Safety and Fire Safety across the venue.
• To complete the relevant pre and post events checks using the Halo system, ensuring H&S concerns are raised and addressed with the on-duty manager.
• To allocate the relevant fire routes to Security & Stewarding teams and to assist with the coordination of emergency response plans during an event.
• To utilise First Aid at Work training and be the first responder to any First Aid incidents taking place during an event, escalating wherever necessary.
• To ensure Security & Stewarding kit and technology is deployed effectively during an event open period.
• To assist in the delivery of queue and crowd management plans during events.
