Job summary

Our client in Jersey seeks a Talent Assistant Manager to support day-to-day recruitment and talent operations for the Channel Islands. This temporary role spans 12 to 14 months, acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers on talent matters and helping deliver regional talent initiatives.

You will collaborate with local Talent Partners in Jersey and Guernsey, build relationships, coordinate onboarding and mobility, and contribute to the delivery of the talent agenda while working

Qualifications

• Experience delivering talent management and HR operations.
• Experience recruiting for experienced hires and dealing with mobility/immigration.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel for data management and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary talent contact in Jersey for talent operations.
• Manage recruitment for experienced hires and mobility requirements.
• Coordinate careers fairs, interviewing and onboarding.
• Facilitate new starter inductions and onboarding.
• Guide business on leavers and manage professional qualification administration.
• Direct queries to central teams to ensure clear communication.
• Promote accountability by ensuring policies are understood and followed.
• Maintain local relationships to support the talent strategy.
• Provide HR coordination for annual activities including performance processes and pay reviews.
• Collaborate with Talent colleagues across the islands to align processes.
