Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency's client is seeking a Talent Assistant Manager in Jersey to support day‑to‑day recruitment and talent operations for the Channel Islands on a 12‑14 month contract. You will be the key contact for employees and managers on talent matters, contributing to the region's talent agenda and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build relationships and manage talent topics.
• Broad HR remit understanding and current HR practices.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with strong service focus.
• Self-starter, resilient, and able to work autonomously or in teams.
• Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary talent contact in Jersey and support talent operations.
• Manage recruitment for experienced hires including mobility/immigration.
• Coordinate careers fairs, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Facilitate new starter inductions.
• Provide guidance on leavers and manage professional qualification administration.
• Collaborate with central teams to ensure effective communication.
• Promote policy understanding and regular reviews.
• Maintain local relationships to support talent strategy.
• Coordinate HR for annual processes like performance & development, LEAD, and pay reviews.
• Work with wider talent colleagues across the islands to align processes and drive efficiencies.
