Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a Contract Surveyor to join our national team, focusing on water hygiene risk assessments across assets. The role covers managing water hygiene services, ensuring safety, compliance and performance across locations.

The ideal candidate has contract management experience with M&E or heating contractors, relevant memberships or qualifications, and the ability to travel across the region. 12-month fixed-term contract/secondment with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing M&E or heating contractors with proven contract management skills.
• Membership of CIOB, CIBSE, or CIPS, and/or a Level 3 or higher technical or built environment qualification, such as water hygiene (P901).

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for the asset streams relating to water hygiene, ensuring services are delivered safely and in line with legal and contractual requirements.
• Act as the key link between internal teams and water hygiene contractors, ensuring reactive repairs are completed, compliance standards are met, and service levels remain high.
• Manage contracts, monitor performance, and work with the Operations Manager to find solutions, liaise with specialists, and drive continuous improvement.
