Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is recruiting a Contract Surveyor to manage mechanical and electrical assets across our region, with emphasis on water hygiene risk assessments and safe service delivery. The role links internal teams with water hygiene contractors, ensuring compliance and high service levels.

The candidate will coordinate M&E/heating contractor activities, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement with the Operations Manager. Post requires travel and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing M&E or heating contractors.
• Membership of CIOB, CIBSE, or CIPS, or a Level 3+ built environment qualification (e.g., water hygiene P901, Electrical L2/L3, AM2, Asbestos P405).
• Desirable: service delivery in social housing and knowledge of operational compliance for M&E assets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage M&E or heating contractors and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Oversee contractor performance, compliance standards and service levels with the Operations Manager.
• Act as the key link between internal teams and water hygiene contractors to drive continuous improvement and safe service delivery.
• Travel across the region to support delivery and compliance across sites.
