Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Contract Support to join a UK-wide facilities contract, based from Manchester (hybrid). The role coordinates a team of mobile engineers, schedules visits, raises purchase orders, and keeps the client systems up to date.

You will support 1–3 engineers across multiple regions, handle helpdesk queries, and assist with contract administration and reporting. This temporary position offers potential for permanent progression for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally scheduling engineers, raising purchase orders, or similar.
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with engineers and the wider team.
• Comfortable learning new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating engineer visits for planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive work.
• Raising and managing purchase orders.
• Acting as the day-to-day contact for your allocated engineers.
• Handling helpdesk queries and responding to reactive requests promptly.
• Keeping job records accurate and up to date on the client's system.
• Liaising with the wider contract team and escalating issues where needed.
• Supporting reporting and general contract administration.
