Title - Contract Specialist
Location - London, hybrid (1 day in the central London office per month)

Role Overview

The SO Contracting Specialist is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and executing clinical study contracts (PI, site, institution, MSA, local vendors, etc.) in a specific country or extended country group (OPC and satellite countries). This role involves close collaboration with SSO Study Start-Up Managers, SO Clinical Project Managers, and SO Finance Specialists to ensure compliance with client processes, GCP/ICH, and regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities
  1. Support country SSU strategy in collaboration with the SO Study Start-Up Team Lead and Managers to meet SSU timelines and deliverables.
  2. Coordinate, prepare, and execute clinical study contracts and amendments as applicable.
  3. Track and oversee contract status, including dispatch and return of contracts.
  4. Negotiate financial and legal conditions, escalating issues as needed.
  5. Serve as the single point of contact for local Legal and ERC regarding topics like patient reimbursement.
  6. Develop and standardize local contract templates and MSAs.
  7. Ensure adherence to financial standards, legislation, ICH/GCP, IRB/IEC, and Health Authority requirements.
  8. Implement innovative and efficient processes aligned with client strategies.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ability to travel to the central London office once a month.

  • At least 12 months' experience in a similar role within industry or academia.
