Job summary

Homewood Health is seeking a Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor to provide short-term, focused counselling on a contract basis in Leamington, ON. You will work with adults, couples, families and children within EFAP services and Stay at Work programs.

The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent, provincial registration, and at least 3 years of counselling experience, with English or French proficiency. Knowledge of EFAP and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counselling or related field with regulatory eligibility.
• Registered or eligible for registration with a provincial body.
• At least 3 years of counselling, social services, or addictions experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling for depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and workplace challenges.
• Work with adults, couples, families and children as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and engage in clinical consultation with management.
• Maintain confidentiality and documentation per policy.
