Job summary

Avove is recruiting a Site Manager to run on-site operations in Brighouse for a Yorkshire Water AMP8 project. You will oversee daily activities, manage teams and subcontractors, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with clients, suppliers, and authorities.

Experience in utilities/construction, knowledge of NRSWA and strong leadership are essential. A full driving license is required as the role is site-based with travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities, construction or civil engineering sectors.
• Solid knowledge of NRSWA requirements and operational compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations by supervising teams and subcontractors to deliver work safely and to programme.
• Maintain strong communication through regular site visits, briefings and updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality, compliance and customer satisfaction through inspections, sign offs and remedial actions.
• Uphold health and safety standards by enforcing protocols, carrying out risk assessments and addressing hazards promptly.
• Provide daily progress reports to management and escalate delays or issues affecting permit compliance.
