Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an experienced Site Engineer on a contract basis to support a major UK energy infrastructure project in North Wales. You will inspect access structures, review drawings, and coordinate with site teams to ensure works comply with project specs. Emphasis on safety, QA/QC, and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires civil/structural engineering background and a CSCS card. SSSTS/SMSTS and confined-space training are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site or Setting Out Engineer on power, energy, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong civil and structural engineering background.
• CSCS card is essential.
• SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Space training are advantageous.
• Contract role on major UK energy infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and support delivery of access structures (handrails, stairs, ladders).
• Review drawings and ensure works meet project specs.
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors.
• Complete inspections, reports, and maintain project records.
• Support QA/QC and health, safety, environmental standards.
