Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is recruiting two Quantity Surveyors for a 6-month rolling contract based in Buckinghamshire. You’ll work on a major National Grid substation extension, handling compensation events, Defined Cost, cost forecasting and monthly reporting, plus valuations and payments across civils and electrical packages.

Ideal candidates have solid NEC3/4 on Option C, strong cost reporting, and proven subcontract valuations experience on substations from 132kV to 400kV.

Qualifications

• Solid contractor-side NEC3/NEC4 experience, ideally Option C.
• Strong cost reporting, Defined Cost, compensation events.
• Experience running subcontract valuations and payments; substation experience 132kV to 400kV.
• CEMAR experience and a QS or commercial management degree would help.

Responsibilities

• Off-site and on-site cost control and reporting support.
• Manage compensation events, Defined Cost, and monthly reporting.
• Oversee valuations and payments across civils and electrical subcontract packages.
