Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Contract Project Manager to lead building, facilities and utilities upgrades at their West Bromwich facility. The role requires strong experience with P&ID readings and site surveys, coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have FMCG/manufacturing exposure, knowledge of steam, water treatment, and air systems, and will manage end-to-end project activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment overseeing upgrades.
• Experience with industrial steam, water treatment, electric & air systems.

Our client is a well-known fast-paced manufacturer, part of a larger group in the UK. They are now looking for a contract project manager to oversee building facilities & utilities upgrades to their facility in West Bromwich.

Role & Responsibilities:

• End-to-end project management for building, facilities & utilities upgrades
• Conducting site surveys to identify needs for upgrades
• Liaising with suppliers & contractors
• Reading and interpretation of technical drawings, P&IDs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment overseeing upgrades
• Experience with industrial steam, water treatment, electric & air systems
