Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Contract Maintenance Engineer in West Bromwich on a 3-shift pattern (Nights, Lates, Earliest). The role focuses on minimizing downtime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform root cause analysis and fault-finding, carry out reactive and proactive maintenance, and lead technicians during breakdowns. Ensuring H&S and hygiene standards are met, with tasks prioritised in a CMMS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or higher.
• Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Electrical / Mechanical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
• PLC Fault-finding experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

£330 Per Day (Outside IR35)

Our client is a well-known fast-paced manufacturer, part of a larger group in the UK. They are now looking for a contract maintenance engineer to ensure downtime is at a minimum.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
