Join Our Team as a Soft FM Contract Manager!

We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our clients while fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace. We are looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Contract Manager to collaborate with our NHS teams, managing the full Soft Facilities Management (FM) service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient delivery of Soft Facilities Management (FM) services, primarily in cleaning and catering within a Mental Health setting. Our services also include portering and retail operations. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

This role involves strategic planning, contract negotiation, compliance monitoring, and team leadership to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring our contracts are managed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Soft FM Contract management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commercial Management: Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring services are delivered within budget while maximising revenue opportunities.
  2. Contract Management: Manage and monitor soft FM and retail contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  3. Operational Excellence: Lead the daily operations of soft FM and retail services to deliver high-quality standards, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital management, service providers, and suppliers to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to service delivery, compliance, and financial performance, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Proven Experience: Significant experience in Soft FM management, ideally within a Mental Health healthcare setting or similar environment.
  2. Commercial Acumen: Strong financial management skills with a track record of managing budgets effectively and driving revenue growth.
  3. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Contract Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing large-scale contracts and service providers, focusing on quality and compliance.
  5. Customer Focus: A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service within a healthcare or similarly complex environment.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to resolve complex challenges effectively.
