About the Borough:

About the Team:

The Waste and Cleansing Contract Team manages the Council’s Recycling, Waste Collection, and Street Cleaning contracts, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Lambeth has declared a climate emergency and aims to be net carbon neutral by 2030.

About the Role:

This role involves managing waste and cleansing services efficiently, leading the contracts team, and maintaining contractual relationships. You will develop your contract management skills in a challenging environment, leading a team and contributing to sustainable waste management.

To qualify, your CV and supporting statement should demonstrate:

• Understanding of national issues in municipal waste management
• Experience managing high-performing waste contracts
