Job summary

Glendale Managed Services is recruiting a Contract Manager in Merton to lead a major grounds maintenance contract, overseeing horticultural maintenance, infrastructure and cemetery management across the borough.

You will report to the Regional Director with full operational and financial accountability for the contract, starting in November 2026. This permanent role requires strong leadership and strategic oversight.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of management experience in grounds maintenance.
• Strong financial planning and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to manage staff and build client relations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operation of the Service Delivery Team.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting and productivity.
• Oversee cemetery administration with ICCM standards.
• Deliver burial services and memorial safety programmes.
• Enforce health and safety and maintain QHSE standards.
• Drive continuous improvement for awards and rankings.
