Job summary

Glendale Managed Services is seeking a Contract Manager to lead a major grounds maintenance contract in South London starting in November 2026. You will have full operational and financial accountability for the contract, reporting to the Regional Director.

You will direct Service Delivery Team activities, manage budgets and productivity, oversee cemetery administration and burial services, enforce H&S and QHSE standards, and drive improvements to achieve Green Flag awards and top industry

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in horticulture or equivalent sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operational activity of the Service Delivery Team.
• Manage financial reporting, budget setting and productivity.
• Oversee the cemetery administration team and ensure strict compliance with ICCM standards.
• Manage the operational delivery of burial services and memorial safety programmes.
• Enforce strict health and safety protocols and maintain QHSE standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to secure Green Flag awards and high industry rankings.
