We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Contract Manager Empty Homes to join our Voids team.
What Will You Do?
To lead the Trusts works management function for the delivery of all Void / empty homes works, ensuring a quality end product that meets the Trust’s Empty Homes Standard and the customer’s needs, and working cohesively with the Trust’s Lettings and Home Ownership Team.The role will also oversee on-site resource delivering Disrepair works and initial responses to property-related incidents such as fire or flood.
Minimum Requirements For This Role
- Relevant professional qualification
- Willingness to undertake further qualifications in areas such as health and safety and compliance
- Proven experience and excellent track record of managing multi-disciplinary trades teams and external sub-contractors to deliver programmes safely, on time, in line with budget and KPIs
- Ability to analyse operational costs and identify efficiencies and effectively implement changes to realise efficiencies
- Ability to prepare and present high quality professional reports on performance delivery works
- Good knowledge of best working health and safety practices and legislation including CDM
- Detailed understanding of relevant building regulations, legislation, and standards
- Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check
