Morgan Law is seeking a commercially minded Contract Manager to join its growing commercial function in Lincoln. You will own contract lifecycle from drafting to termination, balancing risk with business objectives and collaborating across sales, legal, finance and operations.
This role emphasizes public sector and healthcare experience, with hybrid working and 2 days on site. Salary £45,000–£55,000 plus pension and private healthcare, and clear opportunities for governance improvements.
We’re working with an established and growing organisation to recruit a Contract Manager to join its commercial function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of contracts, commercial strategy, risk and client relationships, and who wants to play a key role in strengthening and streamlining the organisation’s contract management processes.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience within the public sector or healthcare sector, whether that’s in a public or private healthcare environment.
As Contract Manager, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of customer-facing contractual activity, working closely with commercial, sales, legal, finance and operational teams to ensure agreements are commercially sound, appropriately structured and aligned with business objectives.
You’ll be involved throughout the contract lifecycle – from drafting and negotiation through to execution, renewal and termination – while providing practical advice on contractual risk, obligations and negotiation strategy.
This is a role with plenty of scope to add value. You’ll have the opportunity to help develop and improve contract management processes, introduce greater consistency across agreements and contribute to a more formalised approach to contract governance.
Key responsibilities:
We’re looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Contract Manager who can confidently manage contractual discussions while building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
You’ll ideally have:
A legal, procurement, contract management or business-related qualification would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience will be equally valued.
Knowledge of SaaS contracts, data protection, NHS terms, government frameworks, Salesforce or information security standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials would also be beneficial.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation where you’ll have genuine scope to influence how contracts are managed and contribute to the wider commercial success of the business.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team in an organisation that invests in its people, with a strong focus on professional development, wellbeing and long-term career progression.
The role offers:
If you’re an experienced Contract Manager with a background in the public sector, healthcare or a related regulated environment, and you’re looking for your next career move, we’d love to hear from you.
