Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Contract Manager based in Tower Hamlets, London. The role is full-time and permanent, 42.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £61,505 per annum.

You will manage end-to-end contract delivery, oversee four supervisors, ensure compliance with health and safety rules, and drive performance across responsive repairs for occupied homes. Applicants must have social housing contracts experience and a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational and commercial delivery to meet contract commitments and client protocols.
• Manage works to programme timeframes and produce project updates.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and Mears SOPs.
• Demonstrate commitment to best practices with legislation and codes of practice.
• Oversee end-to-end responsive repairs across occupied homes.
• Line manage four supervisors, including reviews and briefings.
• Oversee KPIs, reporting and service delivery standards.
• Handle client queries and residents' complaints effectively.
• Support operatives and branches to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Contract Manager

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £61,505 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Fulltime - permanent Monday - Friday

Role Criteria

• Management of all aspects of operational and commercial delivery, overall contract performance in line with contractual commitments and agreed company & client protocols.
• Managing works to programme time frames, producing project
• Ensure compliancy and adherence to health & safety regulations, Mears standard operating procedures Mears values and quality assurance accreditations.
• Demonstrate, maintain and monitor the company's commitment to best practice with legislation, codes of practice & good working practices relevant to all work activities
• End-to-end management of Responsive repairs across a range of occupied homes
• Line management of four supervisors, including performance reviews, one-to-ones, and daily briefings
• Oversight of KPIs, reporting, and service delivery standards
• Handling client queries and managing resident complaints effectively
• Supporting and engaging operatives and branch teams to achieve high-quality outcomes
