Job summary

Mears Group PLC in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of responsive repairs in occupied homes, ensuring contractual commitments and health and safety standards are met.

You will line-manage four supervisors, drive performance reporting, manage client queries, and support branch teams to achieve high-quality outcomes, with a 42.5 hour week and a Monday–Friday pattern.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Workable knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance.

Contract Manager

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £61,505 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Role Criteria

• Management of all aspects of operational and commercial delivery, overall contract performance in line with contractual commitments and agreed company & client protocols. Managing works to programme time frames, producing project
• Ensure compliancy and adherence to health & safety regulations, Mears standard operating procedures Mears values and quality assurance accreditations. Demonstrate, maintain and monitor the company’s commitment to best practice with legislation, codes of practice & good working practices relevant to all work activities
• End-to-end management of Responsive repairs across a range of occupied homes
• Line management of four supervisors, including performance reviews, one-to-ones, and daily briefings
• Oversight of KPIs, reporting, and service delivery standards
• Handling client queries and managing resident complaints effectively
• Supporting and engaging operatives and branch teams to achieve high-quality outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in People Management
• Ability to provide evidence of contract performance and efficiency
• Workable technical knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance
• Full valid UK driving license
