Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Solutions Design Manager to support the growth of its Contract Logistics business across the UK and Ireland. You will design end-to-end warehousing and logistics solutions, collaborating with sales and operations to translate client needs into viable, scalable proposals.

You will lead solution design deliverables, build robust business cases, model capacity and costs, and engage with customers to secure alignment throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong Contract Logistics (3PL) experience in design, operations, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with international supply chains and value drivers for customers.
• Knowledge of automation technologies, warehouse modelling and design principles.
• Experience with WMS and supporting technologies.
• Ability to build compelling business cases and cost models.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end contract logistics solutions including layout, processes, and cost models.
• Develop innovative logistics concepts and value propositions.
• Analyze large datasets to inform solution development and decisions.
• Create capacity plans, productivity analyses, and financial modelling.
• Lead solution design deliverables and manage risks and dependencies.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to secure alignment throughout the proposal process.
