Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Solutions Design Manager to lead the development of innovative contract logistics solutions across the UK and Ireland. You will design layouts, processes, resource needs and cost models, while building robust business cases to win new business and improve service performance.

You will analyse large datasets, model capacity and productivity, and collaborate with sales, operations and customers to ensure operational viability and commercial competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract logistics and 3PL environments.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven problem solving.
• Understanding of trade, regulatory, security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end contract logistics solutions, including layouts, processes and cost models.
• Develop innovative logistics concepts using best-practice automation.
• Create facility layouts using AutoCAD/SketchUp to support proposals.
• Engage in the sales process providing technical expertise and ensuring operational integrity.
