Centurion Truck Rental is one of the UK’s leading service providers in commercial vehicle rental, leasing, and contract hire. Established in the mid-1990s, Centurion has developed strong relationships across major UK industries including Transport, Retail, and Manufacturing, as well as with commercial SMEs.

Originating from a single location now serving as their head office in Middleton, Manchester, they operate from 14 locations and provide a 24/7 vehicle hire service throughout the UK.

We seek an ambitious Contract Hire Manager to join our team and support our growth. Working closely with management and leadership, you will focus on enhancing customer experience, acquiring new business, and managing key accounts. The role involves mobility and customer interaction, with office attendance as needed, collaborating with depot managers to grow and retain a portfolio of clients in the South of England.

This position offers growth opportunities within the BVH Group, with strong support from UK senior leadership for your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure long-term rental and contract hire of trailers.
  • Set and achieve sales objectives through customer acquisition, negotiations, and performance reviews.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on customer, competitor, and industry activity.
  • Propose innovative ideas to promote the business regionally and beyond.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operational teams to deliver excellent contract hire services.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets consistently.
