Job summary

Talentedge Recruitment Limited is seeking a Contract Embedded Software Engineer for a six-month engagement in London, with outside IR35 and a largely remote arrangement. The role focuses on software above the HAL, building middleware, features and user-facing behavior for an electronics product.

The successful candidate will work on C/C++, FreeRTOS and ARM chipsets, with occasional in-office days in Central London and a February start preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing embedded software above the hardware abstraction layer.
• Experience with middleware and feature development for embedded products.

Responsibilities

• Work above the HAL to build middleware, features and user-facing behavior.
• Contribute to development of new features for an electronics flagship product.
• Collaborate with client and deliver-on milestones, starting February.
