Job summary

SF Recruitment's Engineering division in Loughborough is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for an interim contract on a Monday–Friday day shift. You will be apprentice trained to Level 3 with strong fault-finding skills in a manufacturing setting.

The role offers £45.00 per hour Outside IR35, with immediate start. An automotive or industrial background is preferred, and contract experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
• Strong electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues quickly.
• Contract/interim experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical maintenance support across a busy manufacturing environment.
• Carry out electrical fault finding and reactive maintenance.
• Support corrective actions and reliability projects.
• Deliver continuous improvement and engineering projects.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to reduce downtime.
• Ensure all work meets site procedures and safety standards.
• Manage daily tasks as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
