Job summary

Top Flight Recruitment Ltd, trading as Uxbridge Employment Agency, is recruiting for a Temporary Credit Controller in Uxbridge. The role is 3 months, office-based, with an hourly rate of £15.00–£16.00, starting 1st October. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, chase payments and work across multiple systems.

Strong Excel skills and the ability to quickly learn new finance systems are essential. Hours are Monday to Friday, full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and accounts receivable.
• Confident chasing outstanding debt and speaking with customers.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Proactively chase outstanding payments by phone and email.
• Monitor accounts and ensure payments are received within terms.
• Allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate records.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Issue statements, copies, and reminders to customers.
• Maintain records of collection activity and correspondence.
• Support aged debt reporting and liaise with internal teams.
• Use Excel to analyse and update financial data.
• Assist with wider finance duties as required.
