Job summary

Top Flight Recruitment Ltd, trading as Uxbridge Employment Agency, is seeking a Temporary Credit Controller in Uxbridge for a 3-month booking. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, with an hourly rate of £15–£16.

The successful candidate will chase outstanding payments, manage accounts, and work across multiple finance systems, using strong Excel skills and good numerical accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous Credit Control / Accounts Receivable experience
• Confident chasing outstanding debt and speaking with customers
• System savvy, with the ability to learn new finance systems quickly
• Good numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload
• Confident telephone and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively chase outstanding customer payments by telephone and email
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure payments are received within agreed terms
• Allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate account records
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries
• Reconcile customer accounts and identify outstanding or incorrectly allocated items
• Issue statements, copy invoices and payment reminders
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and customer correspondence
• Assist with aged debt reporting and provide updates on outstanding balances
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve account and invoice queries
• Use Excel to maintain, analyse and update financial information
• Support the wider finance team with additional duties as required

Temporary Credit Controller

Location: Uxbridge – Office Based

Hourly Rate: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour

Duration: 3-month temporary booking

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in Uxbridge on an initial 3-month temporary basis.

This role would suit someone who is confident managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding payments and working across different systems. Strong Excel skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively chase outstanding customer payments by telephone and email
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure payments are received within agreed terms
• Allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate account records
