Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager – Flooring & Interior Products to cover North and West London on a 12-month contract. You will drive field sales of a full range of floor coverings to contractors and A&D specifiers.

The role offers £50,000–£55,000 base, up to £8,000 commission, and fully expensed hybrid car with full benefits, plus a dynamic portfolio including education and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have a proven field sales track record, ideally selling into flooring contractors.
• Flooring/ carpet industry background preferred.
• Specification sales experience with architects and interior designers may be useful but not essential.
• Tactful, energetic sales approach with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Field sales role selling a full range of manufactured floor coverings / carpet tiles.
• Promoting multi-loop and low level loop carpet tiles and FRS ranges.
• Sell into flooring contractors (approx. 65% of time) and into A&D, plus other stakeholders.
• Manage an area with turnover ~£1m and project sizes from £10,000 upwards.
