Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer to join the Engineering Flight Physics Capability Teams in Filton. You will perform advanced CFD studies (RANS, URANS, LES) on complex aircraft configurations, using ANSA meshing and CODA CFD chains, and develop Python scripts for automation.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics methods in aerodynamics, transonic flows and propeller configurations.
• Good knowledge of CODA CFD chain use and ANSA Meshing tool.
• Mastering advanced object‑oriented languages like Python or C++ is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the industrialisation and validation of next generation CFD in-house capabilities.
• Provide full end-to-end CFD support (ANSA Meshing, CODA CFD runs and post-processing).
• Work with a transnational capability development team across Europe and India and interact with external partners and researchers.
