An established industry player is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their manufacturing environment. This role involves leading diverse projects, conducting training sessions, and mentoring staff to identify and implement improvements across all areas of the business. Job description

Our client, a manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire, seek to appoint a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead, train and mentor key stakeholders in the business to foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role is diverse and will require the appointed Continuous Improvement Manager to be a good all-rounder capable of dealing with Projects, Group Training Sessions and Seminars, One-to-One Mentoring and also to occasionally get involved with sub contract providers and material suppliers.

Formal Six Sigma training would be beneficial. Experience of running shopfloor workshops (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc) with the character to lead and train others. This is a practical shop floor based role to improve standards and efficiencies and ultimately reduce waste to cut costs throughout the business

Continuous Improvement Manager - Person Specification
- Experience working in a manufacturing organisation
- Able to identify business improvements and Capex projects and present case for their adoption
- Six Sigma training / Formal lean training preferred. Thorough knowledge of
- Past experience of coaching on a one-to-one and group session basis
- Focused outside of just manufacturing/production and able to make improvements across all facets of the business
