We have a great opportunity to join us as a Performance Improvement Manager. We are looking for an outstanding Manager to strengthen our highly successful Hub Performance team.

As the Performance Improvement Manager, you will drive forward operational excellence and process adherence in the Hub. You will have the ability to identify process improvements to create efficiencies in the Hubs and oversee the changes from start to finish. As well as managing process improvements in the Hub you will be responsible for the Performance Improvement Analyst.

We are looking for someone who can;

  • Drive Performance & Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve sortation throughput, quality, service, and cost efficiency across all operational areas by applying improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
  • Analyse & Optimise Processes: Use data analysis, testing, and trials to identify trends, process variations, and opportunities for improvement, including in yard and sortation systems, ensuring best practices are implemented.
  • Ensure Standards & Compliance: Support Process Managers in maintaining and enforcing SOPs, remediate underperformance, conduct audits, and uphold KPIs, SLAs, and processing standards.
  • Support & Develop Teams: Assist in managing both employed and agency staff, guide Process Managers across all shifts, and contribute to training initiatives that enhance quality and productivity.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with key stakeholders such as Control Room, Operations, HR, H&S, and Ops Development to ensure alignment, communication, and delivery of business goals.
  • Lead Change & Project Delivery: Own end-to-end project cycles from identifying change needs to implementation, stakeholder communication, and post-project audits to evaluate impact and future improvements.
  • Implement & Embed New Processes: Support the Hub Development Team in launching new processes and tools that improve operational standards, and help create support materials for wider adoption.
  • Standardise & Align Across Hubs: Work with other Performance Improvement Managers to ensure consistency in process, service quality, and operational improvements across all Hubs.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering hands-on operational excellence programs and driving change across large teams.
  • Ability to competently use all Microsoft programmes
  • An effective problem solver and a enjoys finding solutions.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Well organised and disciplined to be able to work in a team or independently.
