Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd on behalf of a leading manufacturing company seeks a hands-on Continuous Improvement Manager to drive efficiency on the shop floor and partner with production teams and senior leadership to push growth.

You will analyse processes, implement method improvements, coordinate CI activities, read drawings, and champion 5S safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Solid engineering background is essential.
• Aerospace sheet metal manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on shop-floor approach, not desk-bound.
• Strong blueprint reading, with good computer literacy and communication.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the shop floor analysing current engineering processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing practical method improvements.
• Coordinate shop-floor CI activities, track progress, and report metrics to Senior Management.
• Work with senior managers to plan and execute operational changes supporting growth.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for feasibility and compliance.
• Champion a safety-first culture and enforce 5S standards across the facility.

The Role

You will be actively working on the shop floor, partnering closely with production teams and senior leadership to identify efficiencies, streamline manufacturing methods, and drive business growth.
