Job summary

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 3 Assistant Continence Practitioner for the Bladder & Bowel Care Service. The role involves assessing patients, providing continence care, and delivering care plans per established pathways in Islington and Haringey.

You will work 18.75 hours weekly on a part-time basis, with a pro rata annual salary of £31,554–£33,270. A robust induction and multidisciplinary support are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent is required.
• Maths and English at level 1 are required.
• Completion of Care Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake continence assessments for new patients.
• Perform bladder scanning and fit external urinary sheaths.
• Follow up patients on Care Pathways and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
• Liaise with wider multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision.
