Job summary

eNL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join a Nottingham-based team at a well-respected firm.

You will manage a full caseload, conduct pre-claim investigations, draft pleadings and advise clients on contentious probate matters while delivering a high standard of client care. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ PQE in a similar contentious probate role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage sensitive matters discreetly and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research and initial case assessments.
• Advise clients on contentious probate matters and draft pleadings, statements of case and pre-issue documentation.
• Organise exhibits, documents, evidence and briefs; liaise with internal and external parties.
• Aid other fee earners with larger claims as required.

Contentious Probate Solicitor / 5+ years’ PQE / East Midlands / £55,000 + / this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to conduct a caseload appropriate for a full-time fee earner at a well-respected firm.

OVERVIEW:

• The main duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Conducting pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments.
• Advising clients on contentious matters.
• Drafting pleadings, statements of case, and pre-issue documentation and file with the court.
• Organise exhibits, documents, evidence, and briefs.
• Liaise with internal and external third parties.
• Aid with larger claims undertaken by other fee earners.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Applications are welcomed from candidates with at least 5 years of experience working within a similar role.
• You should possess great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Have the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly.
• You should also be able to organise your caseload with a methodical approach by being self-motivated and proactive.
• Most importantly you should have the ability to deliver excellent service to your clients and colleagues.

THE PACKAGE:

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
• Financial bonus scheme.
