Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment in Northampton seeks a Contentious Probate Lawyer with 5+ PQE to advise on contentious probate matters within a supportive firm. You will manage a busy caseload and assist the litigation team through business development and networking.

You will attend court or conferences with or without counsel; liaise with internal and external parties, and gain exposure to broader litigation including landlord/tenant disputes and debt recovery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience advising on contentious probate work.
• Managing a busy caseload of contentious probate matters.
• Ability to support the litigation team through business development and networking.

• Exposure to landlord/tenant disputes, contractual disputes, building disputes, debt recovery and professional negligence.

Contentious Probate Lawyer / 5+ PQE, Up to circa £65,000 / Northampton

CONTENTIOUS PROBATE SOLICITOR/LEGAL EXECUTIVE:

• The firm is looking for someone with proven experience in advising on contentious probate work.
• The appointed Solicitor or Legal Executive will be dealing with a busy caseload of contentious probate matters.
• As the appointed Contentious Probate Lawyer, you should possess the ability to provide further support to the litigation team through business development and networking.
• Furthermore, you will be expected to attend court/conferences with or without counsel as required, liaise with both internal and external third parties, along with supervising junior colleagues.
• In addition to dealing with contentious probate matters, you will also have exposure to the broad spectrum of litigation matters including landlord and tenant disputes, general contractual disputes, building disputes, debt recovery and professional negligence claims.
