Job summary

SAMY in London is seeking a Content Director to lead the content vision and strategy for brands, turning cultural insights, trends and creative ideas into impactful ecosystems across social platforms.

You’ll oversee the creative direction and quality of content, working closely with clients, creators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure content is relevant, distinctive and aligned with both brand and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex campaigns for major brands.
• Experience leading content strategy and creative direction in social-first environments.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Reels, Shorts and emerging platforms.
• Ability to translate cultural insights, trends and brand objectives into innovative content strategies.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and overseeing production from ideation to delivery.
• Strong client-facing, strategic and presentation skills with a focus on performance and trends.
• Strong budgeting and analytical skills, including P&L management.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall content strategy and creative direction across TikTok, Reels, Instagram and other platforms.
• Translate brand objectives and cultural insights into innovative content concepts and formats.
• Oversee development of content from ideation to delivery, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Lead and inspire content creators, designers, editors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop content frameworks and best practices for consistency across markets.
• Identify trends and opportunities to keep brands ahead of the curve.
• Collaborate with Account, Strategy, Influencer and Creative teams to develop campaigns.
• Present creative strategies to clients and secure alignment.
• Monitor content performance and use insights to improve output.
