Job summary

Capgemini Invent seeks a Content Designer to champion inclusive, user‑centred content across client projects. You will craft accessible digital services, collaborate in multidisciplinary Agile teams, and apply GDS and WCAG standards while advocating for inclusive design throughout the project lifecycles.

You may engage with diverse user research, accessibility guidelines, and campaigns for accessible digital services; hybrid working arrangements apply with potential travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of user‑centred design principles and best practice.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams to design and deliver user‑centred services.
• Experience of designing content for diverse users including accessibility and assisted digital needs.
• Security Check (SC) clearance eligibility or ability to qualify for it as a UK resident.
• Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience writing inclusive content in plain English.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with clients across projects, influencing and collaborating with them on the content.
• Create and iterate accurate user‑centred content to a high standard that meets user needs.
• Use analytics, user feedback and user research to map user journeys and needs.
• Make complex language and processes easy to understand.
• Bring new ideas and challenge existing approaches.
• Advocate for user‑centred design and iterative, agile delivery.
