Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Content Designer to join the Digital Excellence community. You will champion inclusive, user‑centred content across projects for public and private sector clients, with hybrid working and occasional travel to client sites.

London, Manchester, Glasgow offices are offered with flexible working patterns. You will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, apply accessibility guidelines, and support business‑critical digital services while ensuring clarity and usability

Qualifications

• Proven experience applying user-centred design to digital services.
• Experience in Agile multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver user-centred services.
• Ability to design content for diverse users including accessibility needs.
• Security Check clearance or eligible to obtain it (UK resident 3+ years).
• Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and legislation.
• Experience writing inclusive content in plain English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with clients across projects, influencing content.
• Create and iterate accurate user‑centred content to meet user needs.
• Use analytics, user feedback and research to map user journeys.
• Make complex language and processes easy to understand.
• Bring new ideas and challenge the status quo.
• Advocate for user‑centred design, iterative and agile approaches.
