The Edinburgh International Festival seeks a creative Content Creator to enhance its digital presence. This role involves crafting engaging content for social media and digital platforms, promoting the Festival's brand to a global audience. Since 1947, the Edinburgh International Festival has existed to promote the exchange of ideas and deepen understanding between cultures through an unparalleled global celebration of exceptional performing arts. We are the original festival and bring some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world.
Each August, we present the finest and most original performers and ensembles from the worlds of opera, music, dance and theatre over three weeks in venues across the city of Edinburgh. Throughout the rest of the year, we devise bespoke experiences to inspire our audiences and communities, to unlock their creativity and cultural curiosity. Our vision is simple: to provide the deepest experience of the highest quality art for the broadest possible audience.
The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for a creative Content Creator to join the digital and communications team. We want you to help us present this unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, which brings some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world.
As the Content Creator, you will be passionate about creating content and digital design, with a real creative flair. You face challenges with a ‘can do’ positive mindset, constantly looking to achieve the most effective creative outcome for the Festival.
You will be key in the promotion of the Edinburgh International Festival brand and programme across digital channels, content, and social media. You will be part of a team representing the Festival online to over 250k followers; researching, creating and publishing engaging content that builds brand awareness. You will shape our content calendar in creative new ways to engage our international community.
