The opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Commercial Consultant to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLE:
- Work in a team of Commercial Managers and consultants, being a key member of the Consulting Team from both management and consultant levels in Sales & Delivery.
- Discuss customer requirements and advise on the capabilities and limitations of Oracle’s contracting process.
- Model pricing structures for products to align with a customer’s budget or sales efforts.
- Determine the appropriate method of contracting.
- Draft contracts and process them through internal business approvals.
- Draft nonstandard contracts, including contracts for Public Sector Customers via the G-Cloud Framework.
- Analyze and interpret information from consulting sales teams to formulate and implement recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare, deliver, and conduct training sessions for consulting sales teams on internal business processes.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within the business to provide guidance related to deal modeling and contract drafting.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in products/fields and suggest improvements to deal modeling or contract drafting.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in handling contracts and commercial processes in a sales environment, including all listed tasks.
- Excellent understanding of pricing models, service contract structures, and drafting guidelines.
- Experience with software automation for approvals, contract processing, and project profitability.
- Degree educated.
- Ability to focus and meet deadlines, work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with remote teams.
- Strong problem identification and solving skills.
