Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Assistant Manager in Complex Projects and Transactions within our Consulting team. You will provide high‑quality financial modelling support, designing, building or reviewing models for diverse public and private sector clients.

You will analyse financial aspects of programmes, help develop best practices, and contribute to proposals and client opportunities. You’ll work with Excel-based models and advanced analytics tools, collaborating with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a relevant degree or professional qualification.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI, KNIME or Alteryx is a plus.
• Ability to design, build or review financial models for projects and programmes across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide high quality modelling support, designing, building or reviewing models for internal and external clients.
• Provide advice and analysis on financial aspects of projects and programmes across sectors.
• Develop a broad range of best practice modelling and analytical skills used across public services and infrastructure.
• Support on proposals and securing opportunities with clients as part of growth ambitions.
• Present work to internal and external stakeholders through presentations or documentation (assumptions, methodologies, conclusions).
