Job summary

Grant Thornton is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in the UK. You will support deal execution across buy-side and sell-side transactions, interact with clients, prepare materials, and help drive multi-project workloads in a collaborative environment.

You will bring ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CA or CFA qualifications or equivalent M&A experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and a proactive mindset to deliver high-quality advice and sustain client relationships across sectors.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA or CIPFA or CFA) or demonstrated M&A experience.
• Experience in UK professional services or UK advisory firms.

Responsibilities

• Support transaction execution across multiple projects within Corporate Finance.
• Impact clients and the firm by maintaining high standards and quality.
• Contribute across the full client lifecycle from opportunity sourcing to completion.
• Collate and analyse financial data to support transactions.
• Draft information memoranda and marketing materials for transactions.
• Prepare client presentations and pitch documents including credentials.
• Assist in valuing companies using comparables, precedents and DCF.
• Collaborate with a close Corporate Finance team across sectors and regions.
