Zusammenfassung

NHS Lanarkshire seeks a Consultant Paediatrician for 8 PAs per week to join the acute paediatric and endocrine teams at Wishaw General Hospital. The post includes on-call duties, outpatient and inpatient care, and a dedicated SPA time for appraisal and service development.

The successful candidate will deliver endocrine and diabetes clinics, work with tertiary endocrinology links, and contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement initiatives within Lanarkshire.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering high quality paediatric care across acute and secondary services.
• Ability to work with endocrinology and diabetes teams to provide clinics.
• Engagement in quality improvement, patient safety and medical education.

Aufgaben

• Deliver endocrine and diabetic clinics alongside inpatient and outpatient care.
• Work within the acute on-call rota and inpatient service at Wishaw General Hospital.
• Develop SPA time and participate in service development and appraisal activities.
• Provide general paediatric clinic weekly and contribute to teaching/research as appropriate.
