NHS Lanarkshire is recruiting a paediatric dietitian to join the pan-Lanarkshire paediatric dietetics team based at University Hospital Wishaw. The role offers mentored development across general paediatrics, enteral feeding, diabetes, and opportunities in gastroenterology, renal, neonatal, allergy and respiratory paediatric dietetics.

The post is open to part-time and full-time applicants, with support and training provided by an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration.
• Excellent team working and initiative.
• Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• A driving licence (full UK/EU/EEA).

Responsabilités

• Act as an independent practitioner assessing and managing treatment plans for patients within established protocols.
• Present complex information to patients and carers clearly.
• Advise on prescribable preparations and nutritional products and maintain diet therapy ordering system.
• Keep accurate records of clinical interventions and outcomes.
