A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist to lead Oculoplastic Ophthalmology services. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our Ophthalmology Service at Dorset County Hospital. This is a new appointment to join four Consultant Ophthalmologists. There will be a requirement to lead and support our Oculoplastic Ophthalmology services. Additional subspecialty interest that complements the existing department would be considered.
This post is 0.7 WTE (28 hours) but additional duties will be considered. The candidate will be expected to be on the specialist register with appropriate Oculoplastic Ophthalmology experience. The post‑holder will be expected to provide high quality care for Oculoplastic patients working alongside our dedicated Ophthalmology team. Appointee will participate in a 1:5 Saturday AM casualty clinic session but there is no other out‑of‑hours on‑call commitment.
Opportunities to develop clinically and research opportunities will be made available and actively encouraged.
