An exciting opportunity for a qualified clinician to join the Acute Medicine Service at Wirral University Teaching Hospital. The role involves providing senior clinical input in a busy environment, supporting patient care and departmental research initiatives.
This post is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified clinician to join our expanding Acute Medicine Service at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will provide senior clinical input to the 27 inpatient medical beds on the Trust's Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Urgent Medical Assessment Centre (UMAC), and will support post-take review of medical patients within the Emergency Department.
You will join an existing team of 7 substantive Acute Medicine Consultants and the wider multi-disciplinary team at Arrowe Park Hospital.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the Department's research agenda and participate in the further development of the Same Day Emergency Care service, including its integration with our partners.
Applicants must be fully registered on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register or within 6 months of an anticipated CCT/CESR date.
