University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Consultant Geriatrician to join the Department for Medicine of the Elderly. We welcome part-time applications to help reach our establishment targets and continue expansion across Derby and Burton sites.

The post involves clinical leadership, teaching and involvement in a developing research program, with dedicated teams in Parkinson's, falls prevention, and orthogeriatrics.

Qualifications

• Specialist expertise in geriatrics/Medicine of the Elderly.
• Experience teaching medical students and supervising juniors.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Department for Medicine of the Elderly (DME) services.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior staff and trainees.
• Contribute to research activities and quality improvement KPI audits.
