Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join the Gastroenterology Department. The role involves delivering high-quality gastroenterology and hepatology care, leading departmental duties, and contributing to clinical governance and CPD.

The post is based at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe Hospitals, with outpatient clinics at Amersham Hospital. The post attracts 10 PAs per week and offers flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and specialist qualifications required.
• Clinical governance and CPD participation expected.
• Experience in teaching and audit/research is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology and hepatology care.
• Lead and manage gastroenterology department duties.
• Participate in CPD and governance activities.
• Contribute to endoscopy rota and service development.
